Il Gufo Fall/Winter 2023/2024 collection is an ode to unspoiled Nature, to Canadian- inspired landscape,
to the expanses of water that stretch out and are lost to view. It is a tale of returning to pristine lands.
#ilGufoNatureDreamers is a collection designed for contemporary little dreamers, created from precious and everlasting
materials such as Merino wool, dyed in warm and vibrant colors of maple leaves or glacial and luminous colors of lakes
bathed in dazzling light. Garments designed to accompany the children of today and tomorrow as they discover the world!
WATERCOURSES
All day long, the light illuminates the reflective surface of the water, which continues as far as the eye can see,
creating a hypnotic and enchanting radiance. The colour palette mirrors the vibrant watercourses lapping the earth.
Various shades of blue, including turquoise and baby blue, populate the first part of the collection, before shifting
into cool blues and even more intense hues with fresh green, pink and ice-grey accents. The colours come to life
on horizontal-quilted puffer jackets in taffeta or down-proof nylon, oversized mohair cardigans and soft,
feather-light viscose dresses. Light plain-coloured and liberty-patterned shirts sit underneath sweaters embellished
with rice-stitch detailing and fringing or featuring cute, jacquard-woven forest creatures. While figure-hugging,
the cotton gabardine and ultra-soft fleece trousers provide total freedom of movement.
MAPLE SYRUP
Here, the colours become brighter and warmer: maple leaves delicately adorn outerwear, knitwear and trousers, bringing hints
of brick orange, honey yellow and olive green. Merino wool sweaters feature hand-embroidered details, while those in mohair
and organic cotton boast sophisticated openwork and fine inlays respectively. Outerwear pieces are made from a wool and cashmere
blend, bouclé, or technical cloth with faux-fur details and Valtherm® padding. And even a double-faced taffeta and fleece fabric.
Cotton flannel shirts are enhanced by vibrantly coloured check patterns that also appear on wrap skirts or shorts with fine darts.
These pair perfectly with baggy dark denim jeans or wide-ribbed or corduroy culottes.
CHRISTMAS IN THE TEEPEE
The unspoilt countryside caked in soft, light snow. The landscape shrouded in captivating silence.
The range, presented in shades of cream white, red, grey and black, features refined and understated pieces,
including dresses in timeless and versatile Sensitive® Fabric over which capes with laser-cut detailing stand out
with bold, geometric allure. Volume reaches all new heights through the use of tulle on dresses and skirts.
Bright like star-speckled vaults, collars complete looks paired with wide-brimmed wool hats. Chequerboard motifs
adorn sleeveless dresses and double-breasted coats with vibrant fringed edging.
SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
For Fall/Winter 2022-2023, Il Gufo is also launching its Pet Collection, a microcapsule
with 2 coats for small dogs: one merino wool pullover with embroidery and pompoms
and a quilted, down-proof nylon coat padded with 250 g/m2 Thermore wadding.
