FEATHER-FREE FILLINGS When it comes to insulation, we’ve chosen innovative alternatives to traditional down: fillings made almost entirely from recycled polyester or partially derived from renewable sources. This allows for a production process that helps reduce energy consumption and CO² emissions.
Some of our sustainable insulation options include:
• ECODOWN by Comfortemp®, made from 85% recycled polyester (from PET and plastic bottles)
• Valtherm® wadding, highly breathable thanks to its honeycomb structure that helps moisture escape
• Sorona®, an innovative polyester filling developed by DuPont™, made from bio-based PTT derived from glucose fermentation and corn processing. Sorona® contains 37% renewable sources and reduces energy consumption during production by 37%.
